Unsubscribed Add on Data Usage

I've come upon an unusual issue with Mobile data being deducted from my 4GB data add on (non-expiring). I have plan data, a 1 GB Data add on (non-expiring) that has 173mb remaining, a 2GB monthly recurring add on and the 4GB add on that now has 3.99% data remaining. The 1GB is the oldest add on and the 4GB is the newest having been recently replaced after disappearing due to a glitch(?)

I have checked my usage history and the 0.01% (12.28mb) is reflected in my usage history between now and November 1st. Plan data aside one would think data usage should occur in the following order:

  • 2GB recurring monthly data
  • 1GB Data add on
  • 4GB Data add on

But all of this aside no data should be deducted as I have not been subscribed since late October. I will be contacting customer support to investigate but I thought I should put this out there for other customers to monitor their data usage on a regular basis subscribed or not if they have any of the old non-expiring data add ons.

Public Mobile still glitchy as.....? Lol!

Wow! I'm back prime ham no longer spam!

After much consternation and several agents I have a new add on with 12.77mb of replaced data. However after much reviewing of my records I've noticed a slow leak of my used data is still pulling from my non-expiring data add ons rather than plan data or my recurring monthly data add on.

Customer support has opened a ticket with the tech team to investigate. It makes me wonder if this problem occurs when my $15 plan's 250mb appears exhausted during the day before the 100mb buffer resets each night? It still doesn't explain why it's not pulling from my recurring data add on but we will see what the tech team comes up with?

$15 plan holders should be advised to monitor their data usage counters regularily if they have data add ons in their account.

Update:

I renewed today and contacted customer support regarding this issue. Here's their response:

"The system automatically takes the data as a whole, not a specific bucket/package.

I see that you've used 13MB out of the 4GB add-on. Since they are used and not accidental usage, we can't reimburse them."

Some things never change here?!!😬🙄🤪

Weirder still is there is reported data usage on days when the Sim card wasn't even in a phone.

yes, there seems to be some data usage issue.  A more common one these days is that people reported that the usage always have 100Mb over-deducted than it should.  

anyway, report back us how agent resolves your problem.  thanks
