Data Usage

How does Data usage work?  When I look at usage breakdown the times showing that I used data are overnight when I am sleeping, not on phone using data.  And most times when I could actually  be on the phone I would be connected to the internet at home so shouldn't be using data.  I am confused.

the usage you see is the total usage of the day. PM usually posts them in 1 or 2 entries daily , usually shortly after midnight

so, no worries, it didn't mean all data were use in that time

@Junebug3  The usage is only updated 2x a day so your only ever seeing the past 12 hours used it’s not real time usage 

edit also note that if you have wifi assist on in phone settings it can still use plan data even when on wifi example like being in garage and having weak signal
