Unable to update Credit Card

Hi, my plan expired because my card payment failed.

I tried to re-pay but it didn't work so I deleted the card and tried to re-add it. Now I just get a failure message:

Unable to Process Transaction
Sorry, we are unable to verify your credit card information, so this purchase could not be completed. Your credit card has not been charged.

I sent a private message yesterday but haven't had a response and my phone is currently unusable. Please let me know what I should do?

Thanks @mimmo and @Anonymous I didn't see that there were no taxes. I'll investigate Recharge further.

It's not tax, it's fee:

We want to provide you with the best service and to do so we charge a service fee.

@jamiepm but there is no taxes. So usually it's almost at par for most tax areas

Ya gotta pay taxes. Wherever you are what are your taxes? In BC where I am, the total cost of the voucher comes out to be a hair less than what it would cost with taxes in a store.

It's just a straight first come first served queue.

If that's true, then it's a ridiculous way to deal with things!

My plan is a 90 day one, if I buy a voucher from recharge it'll cost me at least $10 on top of my plan. So I'm not doing that.

I've already tried a different browser and all the rest of the tricks listed throughout the forum with no luck.

Whatever's in excess will just stay in your Available Funds and be used first for the next renewal.

Did you try Dunkman's suggestions above with the address.

Thanks for taking the time to respond but clearly I need a mod to intervene here. I would have thought that payment/loss of service issues would be prioritised...

@jamiepm  I would just buy a voucher from recharge.com use that to activate my account. and deal with the credit card once you have service.

you might need to do the lost stolen trick. if your line does not activate properly after the topup. (either creditcard or voucher)

@jamiepm

The website is finicky.  You can try a different webbrowser, clearing cache or incognito/privacy mode.  Make sure the address matches exactly with your credit card bill.  Leave the apartment number section blank.  Sometimes leaving the last digit of postal code has helped in the past.....

You can get a voucher at Walmart or London Drugs. Hopefully that will get you going until your cc woes can be cleared up. Good luck.
