I turned on 2-factor authentication on Twitter, the second method is to receive a text message.
However I am never able to receive single one. When the number was still with Wind I get the SMS.

@hardywang oh? mine still hasn't arrived 😞
OH, nevermind! I just re-sent the request and it arrived instantly. Weird. Maybe I typed it wrong the first time?
EDIT: but when I try to turn on log-in verification, it wanted to confirm my phone again, and this one I can't seem to receive. Very odd.

Hi @hardywang,
Could you send me your phone number through a private message? I will look into this 🙂

@hardywang I see what you mean. I just tried to add my phone number to my twitter and it's sent me a veritifcation code apparently but I haven't received it. It's only been a couple of mins so it may yet arrive, but so far no dice.
@Mary_M @Shazia_K @Saray_O any ideas here?
It would be nice if Twitter offered up something other than SMS for TFA, such as Google Authenticator for example. I much prefer it in general (though I use the Authy app instead of GA, since it's awesome). SMS for TFA isn't a very reliable system, unfortunately.

I think there are no responses to your query because there is no fix available. You can try the Telus short codes referenced in my prior post, but I suspect you are stuck using the Twitter app.

Do you have a texting plan? If so, double check your account to be sure. Without a text plan no texts will come through.
