I'm unable to change my phone number through "my account." I keep getting the message "Phone number change failed."

yes, PM site is not reliable. You really need to have multiple computers, phones or browsers for this to work perfectly

Are you porting a number in thru your account? Or just changing your number? Are you getting the fail message because you keep trying to change to one particular number? Sometimes telus releases phone numbers that are already active by mistake or another customer could have chosen the same number moments before you.
Try the suggestions above and log in and try again. The website can be finicky at times.

@dttg13 I guess you tried different numbers and same result?
try to use Incognito Mode and see if it works
you can also try different browser (Chrome/Firefox/Edge) or clear cache or even try on another machine and see if it helps

@dttg13 Have you already changed it before? It used to be one change per 30 days but I think that has been upped to 4 per 30 days now. But there also may be a time limit per change.
Or is it your first time trying to change the number?

Try different browser.
Is your plan/account active and in good standing?
You can change number only 4 times per 30 days.
