Unable to activate eSIM because of Indian account on device

Good day,

I have an Indian apple account on my phone and thus I cannot download the public mobile app to activate the eSIM. I do not wish to change my account but if my subscription gets changed to a physical sim, it will work. Please help me out with this issue.

HI @Pratham 

you have two choices:

1. easier way is to ask a friend to help to install the app.  But you have to be careful, the person has to "disallow" the app to automatically install the esim or he would have your esim on his phone.  He has to stop at the esim installation step, and then you install the esim via QR code on your Welcome email

2. or if you already got passed the payment step by activatingon the browser, submit ticket with CS agent and ask them to complete the step.  Again, the QR code will then be on your Welcome email and you can manually install the esim

You can download the app on another device to get activated.  Then when it's done, just delete the app from the other person's device.

Get a physical SIM card at a corporate Telus or Koodo location, @Pratham

@Pratham  Are you able to borrow a friends phone and download the app to activate . Then you can delete off there phone and manage your account in the website from there
