USA useage

This is only my 2nd time using USA access the 1st was easy but this time in April 2022 the service was hard to hookup and the service was very sporadic. What happened since one year ago?

the prble. could be TMobile coverage
if you cannot make voice call, either enable VoLTE or change network to 2G

Are you still in the states? If so then leave your network provider on automatic as T-Mobile is the only one that will let you in. Then, if you bought talk, then if your phone can manually switch down to 2G/GSM then that might work for talk. Text would also work. I'm still not sure about data. Leaving it on lte/3g/2g should switch down but sometimes in different areas it might not. But you could switch back to lte when you need data.
2G/GSM is much less coverage than lte.
Even with volte you would still need to be in coverage.

A lot.....to bring you up to speed....read this....
However on February 22nd 2023 public mobile began to roll out VoLTE for its customers. It's automatically provisioned for new customers if they have a VoLTE compatible phone on the pm whitelist (which is limited currently). Accounts activated before February 22nd 2023 are being provisioned for VoLTE in batches but customers intending to travel in the US and purchase US Roaming can ask for it to be manually provisioned in their accounts by their travel date by contacting customer support. Otherwise voice calling in the US is via T-Mobile's 2G network (use the cellmapper link in the linked thread's update post for detailed 2G network coverage) for customers without VoLTE provisioned in their accounts or p

@slingvan , unless you have VoLTE enabled in your account and have a VoLTE whitelisted device, calling will be very challenged with elimination of 3G service as of summer of 2022. Text and data should be unaffected.

@slingvan With the US getting rid of 3g services it can be spotty at best … just have to make sure your connected to T mobile and reboot the phone and try in different areas …. If your trying to rebuy very same US add on you need to wait 24 hours after the first one ends to rebuy unless it’s different US add on otherwise support can help you re buy same US add on back to back with out the 24 hour wait

are you trying to get voice or data?
can you phone connect to T-Mobile at all?
