I purchased the plan with 8.5 GB of data in Canada and 2 GB of data in the US. I know the plan has been discontinued, but am I grandfathered with the US data until I give up the plan? I would still like to have those 2 GB of data in the US, but if I do not then I'd rather just switch to a current plan and double my data in Canada.

Count yourself lucky to have that plan. It's the deal of the century! Seeing as roam like home charges $10 a day capped at $120 per month on top of your plan amount you will want to hold onto that plan as long as possible. Or sell it as there are many customers that would clamour for that plan or bequeath it.

Yes, I was going to say a woman had the same question recently , hopefully that helps walk you through it and eases any uncertainty about the US data and grandfathered plan

The 2gb of US Roaming data does not show under your plan details but is on your overview page with its data counter as:
2GB AT 3G SPEED......0/2048mb.
And on your add ons page.....

Your plan should be honoured since it is grandfathered so everything should be functioning as on the first day you purchased it.
@darliciousmight provide more details as being expert in old plans 🙂

You should still have the data for use in US...long as you're still paying for that grandfathered plan.

@arthurkania Yes you grandfathered plan with the US talk/data will stay unless you change plans and then you will not be able to get it back as it's no longer offered.
