Yes, but you definitely want to switch to the new $50/40GB plan. $10 cheaper, 38GB more data, and 4G vs 3G speeds. And it still works in the US.

It always has. But there's now the same kind of plan for $50 with way more data that also roams with the full amount not just the 2gb.
