Last week I paid for United States Roaming on my phone, 15.00. It did not work. I used the chat box and did not the following: I turned my phone on and off, It did not work. I turned my roaming on and it did not work. And I changed my ISPN number and it did not work. I tried to problem solve but could not get the roaming to work.
If you check my account you will see that nothing was used. I was frustrated because I could have used the phone a few times without WIFI

PM will have T-mobile 2G network for US talk. Try to manually connect to T-mobile.
Roaming is for Data only. Voice and SMS text will still work.
Data will work on LTE, but will switch over to 2G to make a call.
However, the quality of service will vary depending on the different coverage areas when roaming in the USA.

For the curiosity of the regulars here, where in the states were you intending to use roaming? Texting should have worked for a start. But yes it's all moot now if you're back home. We might have been able to help you if you had asked here while you were away.

Thank you, you showed me how to submit a ticket. I am awaiting a reply. I checked my plan and I signed up for unlimited talk and text 15.00 in the US.

@TheresaC was it just roaming data or voice?
For roaming, you should have tried to change the Network connection to Manual and try to connect to T-Mobile
No worry, PM is very reasonable and usually will provide the refund if the roaming was not used. You will just need to engage them via ticket:
1. Please open ticket via Chatbot (requires access to My Account): click this Chatbot Ticket Link
Then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" to open the ticket submission page
Next, enter your Community login, then enter your question. Finally use My Account login or 4 digits PIN to validate.
