How do you add on US voice and data to an existing plan?

You will only be able to use you voice services with T-Mobile for the next few months due to the decommissioning of the 3G networks in the US. At&t has already shut down their 3G network so you will only be able to use data and/or text services on their 4G LTE network.

Purchasing an add-on after logging in into your PM account is a two-step process. You need to load funds first and then purchase add on.

1. Add funds to your PM account: Any funds to buy add-ons come from your balance, so manually add funds to your available balance first.
2. Buy Add-On: You will actually buy the add-on after you add funds to your account or else you won't have funds to actually buy the add-on. Funds to buy add-on come from Your account (after adding funds in step #1) and not directly from your credit card.

US roaming Talk cannot be stacked. Next one has to be purchased after initial expire but you have to wait 24 hours.

When you are in US, try to connect to AT&T or T-mobile. One could be better than the other so, if one doesn't work well, try the other one.

US Roaming for 10 day packages

Unlimited U.S. Talk, Text and 250MB Data Bundle = $20

Unlimited U.S. Talk and Text Bundle = $15

Unlimited U.S. Talk Only = $8

Unlimited U.S. Text Only = $8

U.S. Data Only for 10 day packages

250MB = $10

500MB = $15

1GB = $20

Hi @Elizabethseib   You can buy US roaming Add-on.  

First login to My Account, check the list of US Add-on you want to buy.  Then load enough fund into the account first.  After fund is loaded,  go back to the list of Add-on and purchase

Once done purchase, reboot your phone.  Also, on your phone, use Manual network selection and try to connect to T-Mobile or AT&T, either one as long as you can connect.  If you are buying Roaming Data, also make sure your Roaming Data is enabled on your phone.

@Elizabethseib  you need to purchase ROAMING Addons for services to be used in USA. But they only work while you are there. Addons last 10 days, and start as soon as you successfully add them to your account.

• Make sure data roaming is enabled in your phone settings.
• Restarting your phone should help you connect to the correct network.
• Go to the cellular or network settings in your phone, and check your APN configuration. If possible, manually search and select either AT&T or T-Mobile's network.

HI @Elizabethseib   The only way to do is to buy 10 days roaming add-ons.  Please note the add-ons are 10 days and you have to keep buying if you are there for longer than that and want to keep using it.

and if you are in US for long time, I suggest you to buy local data prepaid SIM, it is cheaper and offer  more data and easier to use.  For voice call, consider using VoIP app like TextNow.  You get to pick a Canadian number and you can make calls and receive calls for free
