Does the new $29 plan include calls that I will make while I travel in USA, without any roaming charges?…also for data?

@MarinelaP You can test it while you're at home in Canada by following these steps:
1) Temporarily turn WiFi off on your phone
2) Set your Preferred Network to 4G or 5G (not 3G) and ensure you're connected to a 4G or 5G tower
3) Make a phone call, and watch the connection at the top of your phone. If after the call connects it stays in 4G/LTE or 5G, you have VoLTE. If it drops to 3G once the call connects, you don't.
If you don't, data and text will still work in the US, but phone calls will not. If you do have VoLTE, all 3 services will work in the US.

Thanks Denny. I checked the link. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G…There is a Samsung S21 FE, but not sure is the same as mine. Any idea or suggestion where I can check? If it is not on that list, does it mean that I can’t use the phone in US?

Yes it works great in the US. You need to turn Data Roaming ON on your device and leave Network Selection on AUTOMATIC.
Also note that although text and data aren't impacted by this, phone calls do require a VoLTE whitelisted phone because of the fact that the US shut their 3G networks down:

hi @MarinelaP
no worries with the connection, many me included, tried and worked well.
just make sure you have roaming mobile data turned enabled on your phone. Leave the network mode on 4G or LTE. If trouble with automatic connection, then manually try AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon

I was hopping that someone who already has this plan used it and can confirm it works well in US. I am mainly concerned that I will not have connection while travelling.

@MarinelaPYes with that plan you can call to and from all 3 countries using talk text and data and it’s has roaming built into the plan so not other hidden cost PM is pre paid service and you can only used what you have already paid for so you will never experience a surprise bill bill no worries

Yes. Calling to/from Canada, the US, and Mexico are all included. Also to note that there are never any surprise charges at Public Mobile because it's a prepaid service. Basically if it works, it's included; if you haven't prepaid for it, it simply won't work.
