Transport number from Eastlink to Public Mobile

I recently started this process, got a message from Eastlink asking if I approve this transport to which I reply YES.

I am aware this could take 30 min-5 hours or even days but how do I know when it´s done?

Also, according to the instructions, I should leave the old SIM card there... so when do I know to change it for the PM new one?

Yes the old SIM will continue to work for about 2 hours until porting is completed.

Thanks, it took some time but it did stop working. I also received a message from Public with further instructions, so I should be good. Thanks again

@CrisArias  Since you already replied YES to the confirmation text. to port , it’s time to try the Pm sim in the phone and get outgoing and incomming calls text and data

@CrisArias  Once you answered Yes the old sim should soon stop working.  Once it has stopped working you can insert your Public Mobile sim and restart the phone and it should be working.  If not come back and let us know so we can help further.
