Hello,
My phone was stolen today - the Public Mobile FAQ says there is no way to port a number from an existing Public Mobile phone to a new Public Mobile phone. Is there a workaround for this? I would like to retain my phone number from the stolen phone if possible.
Thanks!

Login to your account and go to the Account tab>Report Lost/Stolen Device to pause service on stolen phone.
Once you have your new phone and SIM/eSIM then go to Account tab>Change Your SIM Card to transfer your account to the new SIM/eSIM with the same number.

@mhendo Get a new SIM card and log into your account and sim swap the the number like thiis on profile page of your account
SIM SWAPPING profile tabs
if your not able to log into your account ask support to sim swap the number for you .
and you will keep same phone number and plan

I think you may have misunderstood the FAQ. First, can you log into your account? If so, go in fast, click on the LOST or STOLEN button so it places your account on hold. Then you can purchase a new SIM card and put it into your new phone and keep your same number and same plan.
If you can't log into your account, please contact a CS Agent via this link.
