How do you transfer a phone number from one sim to another within the public mobile system.
When I try to transfer i get the message
" Phone number not eligible for port"

1) sim card was lost for a number we'd like to keep with PM
2) I have an extra active number (with sim card) I don't really use with PM
3) I either want to update account #2 with number from #1 OR add Sim card from #2 to account #1

@tinemoros You can replace the SIM on an active account by yourself as mentioned earlier, however, if the account was suspended and is still within the 90 days of suspension, then you need to first reactivate the account by paying the amount due and then you get access to Change SIM under Quick Link. The Change SIM option isn't available on suspended accounts. Once the SIM has been changed and verified, then your number will become active again.

@tinemoros When was the last time you paid for that account? If it's been more than 90 days of suspension, then the account/number/SIM have all been deactivated.

HI@tinemoros you cannot port a number from one PM Account into another
do you mind to explain what you want to do? like how many account you have now, how many sim card
and why you want to do what you are doing. Honest, I don't really understand

@tinemoros no once you close an account you will lose that number so you would need to port your number somewhere else then go into your other public account that you want to port that number to and request that number

Yes replacing a lost sim. It's an extra number i had, so the sim was already activated. Just looking to reuse that same sim.

@tinemoros Are you replacing a lost/defective SIM? Then you need to click the Quick Link (right hand side of account) and select Change SIM option and add the new SIM and PM will need to verify the change by email/text.

Can you cancel then use the number? How long until number is released?
