I have new Public Mobile plan (with a physical aim and a long standing TELUS service (for the same phone).
I watched the PM YouTube video about the transfer/port process, but it wasn't clear if it will work when I am in the USA.
If I put the TELUS sim in my phone while in the USA and start the transfer/port process while in the USA, will the process work properly, or do I have to do it when back in Canada?
Thanks in advance.

@Handy1 wrote:@TucDream Yes it should work , and especially if the public mobile plan you have is CAN/US roaming plan or you have US roaming add on . This customer isn't porting to Telus Mobility, so the plan that the customer chose for Public Mobile makes no difference. The porting authorization will come from Telus Mobility. In any event, Public Mobile and Telus Mobility customers do not need roaming add-ons (or a plan that specifically includes U.S. roaming) to receive text messages in the U.S.
