@Handy1 wrote:@Ashleylookatme Yes you can do this on activation or afterwards from your account , just be sure to only use lucky account number and ignore the IMEI number it’s not needed . Leaving lucky SIM card in the phone to reply YES to the confirmation text to port number
Without knowing which city (rate centre) the phone number is from, there isn't any way to know if the number can be transfered to Public Mobile.

@Meow- No indeed, a landline, copper or cable etc, does not get an sms to respond to. So a verbal permission needs to be given so the company knows oh ok this number is legitimately transferring out. AFAIK anyway 🙂

I agree with you...
The only thing I did not get answer so far from anybody, will transferred 'Real' land line number be able to receive SMS? Real land line number 'belongs' to 'land line company' like Bell and companies will not send SMS to such number.

It is funny they have a message 'Yes, this mobile number, etc.' like they do not consider people might transfer land line number. Same message for free voip (voip app) number. Hmmmm,

Here is some more information about porting over:

Also, make sure that your Lucky mobile account is active before port.

Possible. Most number can be ported around but not all
Please check your number's portability to PM here (it is a Koodo site but result is the same):
