Though there are signals it says unavailable

I am on a trip in India, I could see there are signals for the network but I dont receive any messages nor calls , when I call its says unavailable. Can someone help.

Luckily you're in India it has some of the cheapest data plans in the world. Just make sure your phone is compatible with the provider that you choose.

You CANNOT have PM service in India.

Only in Canada or US with appropriate US add-on. Nowhere else, period!

@Tej hi sorry Public will not work in India you will need to purchace a local sim while you are there
