This is true, but there are advantages to esims as well:
- security - if your phone is stolen but is securely locked, an esim cannot be removed and put into another phone. This helps keep two-factor SMS messages more secure, in particular.
- when travelling, you can buy a local sim card and put in your phone without having to remove the esim to make room for it - the esim can simply be disabled in the phone's settings. If nothing else, this reduces the risk of losing your esim

@Truecanadian88 Yes you need to buy it on the app subscription add on page . Notice shop sim now select it then choose eSIM download and instal
