Data issue

When I first signed up to public mobile I only had an issue with sending MMS. Setup an apn as in most of the post and could then send MMS but now have no data. Tried to go back to previous apn and still have no data, reset, restarted multiple times. Tried other apn settings that were posted on community and nothing seems to work. Starting to wish I never switch carriers as no other sp caused either issue.

This seems to be working, hopefully it works long term.

It's true that the APN type can be case sensitive, but more commonly, the "dun" type has to be in lower case (as with the rest of the APN types).

@Jaybec

try this APN settings:

APN: sp.mb.com

APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
APN enable/disable: APN enabled
                or  Turn APN on/off APN turned on

MVNO (Mobile virtual network operator)value: 4D      (or try:   4D4F)

At the same time, I also suggest you to try your sim card on a mainstream Samsung phone or iPhone to confirm it is a phone issue an not account

So that was short lived, mobile data worked for a bit and back to nothing again.

Using a xiaomi redmi note 14 pro global. Could not find any data limiter in settings but did find unrestricted data settings and that seems to have helped. Still doesn't make sense why it initially worked fine then stopped as I didn't make any changes except apn settings.

@Jaybec

what phone do you have? did you try your sim card on another phone? on another mainstream phone like Samsung or Apple?

Also, make sure your didn't setup Data Limiter on the phone.  Data Limit setup usually found under Data Usage screen or  Data Usage > Billing cycle and Data warning screen, disable it
