Stolen phone

What I'd like to know is how to get my IMEI # for my stolen phone from public mobile. I've already signed it out of Google so I don't believe I can get it from Google anymore. I want to register it on the national do not activate list to make sure no one else can make use of it.

Public has a record of all devices that the sim was put in to. I had a couple old phones stolen that hadn't been used for a while. I had a phone that was briefly used but was returned.  All on the record. An agent did apparently blacklist the couple stolen phones. But then another agent stopped that. So YMMV.

I might. I'll look but I don't have hopes up too high.

I'll try a CSA.

I've already deactivated the phone with PM. Whoever has it powered it off over 7 hours ago and I can't get to the IMEI when I go to find my phone. Just it's last location. I'll keep trying though. I've also changed my Google password. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.

Telus prepaid, when I was with them, had IMEI number and it shows both IMEI number and phone on your account. How do you think how blacklisting  works? It’s based on a SIM installed which gives the carrier the IMEI number and if matches black list = NO service. So no doubt  PM has it. As does every other  carrier with their SIM installed.

So @Cathy99 ask a CSA.

you can also get IMEI from manufacture if you did register after purchase.

@Cathy99 , the quickest way to find the phone IMEI would be via google find my phone.  Login to google find my phone, it will locate the device if it is running and from there you will be able to get the IMEI data.  When you said you signed out of google, do you mean you used the remote wipe feature?

Yes they do.  The amount of data logged in the network would drop your jaws.  They would be able to identify IMEI, towers that the phone connected to with timestamps...

I believe as long as the SIM is phone PM knows what it is.

Do you have the receipt or box for it, that may have the IMEI on it?

@Cathy99   so, you have no chance of getting it from Google site?  try it first

https://myaccount.google.com/find-your-phone

but first, login to My Account to mark the phone as Lost/stolen first
