Hello People,
The good folks at PM were so happy with me that they sent me an additional sim card ;o). Lol. Or maybe they were indicating me to take an additional connection.
Well, to make the story short, I have an additional sim card(the envelope is in sealed condition) and if anyone is in a hurry and wants a sim card, do let me know.
The only problem would be delivering, so if you are in and around Mississauga that would be preferable. You can collect it from me since I live in Mississauga.
Cheers !

Easy way around that, once the potential of a strike is over an PM reverts to CP shipping (if ever), order a new spare with free shipping, activate the current spare and get the rebate, and throw away current sim.

@Novaeddie Fair enough, plus if you do need to activate it the shipping rebate should apply. Though there may be a time limit once this potential postal disruption ends.
You can see my thoughts on managing service disruptions here: Secure service.

Yes I do understand that. In my mind $10 is not a lot for the security of not having to be without my cell for several days.

@Novaeddie Please note that PM is still shipping via courier and YOU must pay for the delivery. That will not be recoverable until the SIM is activated.

You should just hang on to it. God forbid you lose your phone and you will have to order a new one and wait a couple days with no phone. I am going to order another one just for this reason.

Yeah, figured out the hard way. 😕

No matter how many you choose PM only ships ONE at a time.

I understand that. I managed to have two shipped.
One order of one, and one order of three.
Both envelopes had one SIM. 😞
I guess I'll make another two orders today.

@rugerty100 Order additional cards the same day by using different email addresses. Or try ordering with the same email address as soon as the order is confirmed.
Currently the issue with having spare SIMs is you cannot recover the shipping charge until the SIM is activated.

Haha, lucky you.
I tried to add multiple SIM cards to my "cart", but even when it says 3x added to cart, only one actually arrives.
My whole family is switching over to Public Mobile, wanted to save them some courier fees, but nope.
