Since they don’t have the actual call centre, makes it little few extra steps of process with them. To be able to port in from different provider. I would love them to open call centre for such essentials

@Pmob007 , the port fraud protection is a measure that is implemented across the industry. It is a pretty simple self serve feature - acknowledge the port via SMS. I don't know how a call center would make this simpler.

request porting on new carrierr
Receive a text from PM and you reply YES
no need to involve call center. same process even porting out front another carrier. no CS involvment needed even with another carrier

To port a number in from another provider you can either do it yourself in self service or there is a Telus number you can call.
