When I signed up, PM was to send me a SIM card. That was 5 weeks ago. Have not received it yet. Can’t buy a card in my town. Also, one month has gone by and paid for the month.

Amazon has them on sale for $4.99 right now directly from Public Mobile and fulfilled by Amazon 1-2 Day Prime delivery.
I'd recommend to order one here since your guaranteed to get it within a few days, than ask CSA to refund/give you account credit for the one you didn't receive directly from Public.

you weren't billed for the month as you haven't actually started your PM accou8nt yet. Once you get the new PM sim you can complete the activation process to get you started. Welcome aboard.

Sim card delivery from PM online could be as many as 3 weeks
However, since it has been over 10 business days, you can open ticket with PM support to confirm if they got the order and if the sim card is on the way. They might offer to resend you another one or ask you to buy one form local Telus/Koodo/MobileKlink store and reimburse you the extra cost
