I have bought a new phone. The sim card is stuck in it. If I use the Change Your Sim Card feature in the account to change the sim card do I loose any days? do I have to repay for a whole month or do I just carry on to my next renewal date.? Is there any danger of me loosing my telephone number???

@computergeek541, u r right. It's a repair service & customers should expect to pay for their time. Better to buy a new SIM card for the new phone.

Nobody should ever make this assumption. Simply put, that is a repair service and customers should expect to pay for such service.

Absolutely! Switching SIMs keep everything you have on your account: bonuses, funds, add-ons, etc. Same is true if you switch Plans.
And switching eSIM (getting a new one if old fails or you change phones) should be free while obtaining new physical SIM will cost you price of SIM.

Did you try using tweezers to pull out SIM card?
You will not lose any days if you transfer number from one SIM to another.

Need to purchase a new physical SIM card and then change the SIM card number via your self service account. You will not lose your number. PM payment cycle will not change when you change the SIM card number. The same next payment date.
Another quicker option is if your new phone is eSIM compatible, you can download the PM app on your new phone and purchase eSIM. The eSIM will download on your new phone and the old physical SIM card will be inactive.
