My friend cannot sign into her Public Mobile account because she repeatedly does not receive a security code by computer email, the same email address to which she received her SIM card order confirmation. Her cell phone has not been activated because the SIM card was supposed to have been received via Canada post December 18, 2023 but has has not yet arrived. Thus I am reporting both issues for her. Please provide a solution to this "Catch 22". ...... PS: I find it stunningly ridiculous that a communications company specializing in phone services does not have a service agent phone number to call!!! Your customer communications system is outrageous.

Did you make sure the security code wasn't sent to her junk box? I chose to activate by esim and provided the phone number I currently have and the security code was sent to that number (while i was still with the previous service provider). If you don't want to wait then you can get a sim card for $5 at a nearby Telus store (I find that different Telus store charges either $5 or $10 for a sim card).
There is no way to track the SIM card shipping info. You just have to wait. You can buy one for now and ask for a refund with the new SIM card that came in? I don't know if you can do that or not...

Hey @B46C
There really is no way to track it. So if she ordered it on December 7th, that means it went out on the 12th or 13th. It will probably be there sometime this week. If not, a CS Agent can send another one. However, Amazon is the fastest way if she has next day delivery.

SIM. Card can take up to 3 weeks to arrive .if you need one sooner try calling local Telus Koodo stores for in person pick up or order from Amazon .otherwise reach out to support for a status up date for when it shipped and when you can expect it . Or if you can get a credit for buying a new SIM card .message support directly while your already here and logged in the community you can send a private message To CS_Agents

My friend lives in Northern BC. There is no Telus store. Further, there were no Christmas holidays between the SIM Card order date December 7, 2023 and the stated arrival date of December 18, 2023. How can it be determine if Public Mobile has actually mailed her SIM Card, and if so, where was it sent from and how can its delivery be tracked?

Hi @B46C
You can reach a CS Agent here for assistance any time.

Furthermore, you'll have to wait till the SIM card arrives to activate the plan. Being the Christmas holidays, it may take a bit longer by mail. She can also call the local Telus stores to see if they have any in stock or can order it from Amazon for $4.99. Hope this helps.
