I am thinking of buying the Samsung watch 6 LTE version so I can go for a run without bringing my phone with me. I would like to be able to answer calls and text messages without my phone. Says the watch will work on Telus network. Does that mean it will work with Public Mobile since it uses the Telus network? Thanks

HI @Mctoone
sorry, the LTE functionality would only be useful on Koodo or Telus, not PM. With PM, your only way is to bluetooth to connect

@Mctoone Sorry PM does not support smart watches , all you can do is Bluetooth it to your phone when on PM

does it have a hard sim slot because PM doesn't have esim for watches currently.

Sorry, while the Watch 6 can use eSIM which PM allows, there are still other mobile servers needed but PM does not have it. So, in short, you cannot activate eSIM for your Samsung watch or Apple Watch
