Before you switch providers you may want to research what your future service provides.
Public Mobile is clear on their website that they don't provide a customer support number and most issues are dealt with through the community or a moderator.
Good luck with PC financial.

A screenshot of your self serve will go a long way to clear things up

@Ind make sure you are that minutes are round up to the next minutes. this is the same practice for all carriers
Also checking VM from your mobile will cost you outgoing minutes too. Tryv to save some minutes by checking from landlines

Is the outgoing text to a shortcode (less than 10 digit number)?
The voicemail is used by using call forwarding. When someone calls you and you don't do anything then it will call forward to the voicemail number that is automatically configured when you activate (in an ideal world). Many of those numbers end with 4001. Could be 4002 or 3.
Again, what does the front page my data & add-ons show for your used minutes?

I think the system they are using to calculate the time is not accurate. I have also noticed that other clients are having the same issue and since there is no customer support line to fix this problem they will lose a lot of clients like myself and my husband.

@Ind do you mind to provide screenshot of the Usage page? but make sure you go through each page from your current cycle start date, don't trust the sort feature there

I don't have my voice mail set up.
06-02-2022 12:04 PM
Not showing any info on how the 31 minutes have been used, just showing an outgoing text which I never sent

@Ind hi have you checked in your self serve account under usage to see what may have happened?
06-02-2022 11:50 AM
But what does the front page show for minutes. The usage details take all activity of the account. You might be getting calls that are going to voicemail. That appears as a call in your details but they don't count for the minutes.

I did not use my phone at all since my last plan payment and my usage is showing 31 minutes have already been used I think I will be switching to PC financial

History where? In the usage details of the account? Or on your phone? Non-toll-free and calling voicemail will take your 100 minutes.
If you are looking at your account then are you going back to the day of your last renewal?
Adding - and rounding up to the next minute? eg. a call of 1:10 will count as 2 minutes.

Your plan should include calling to most any Cdn number while you're in Canada.
Log in to your account My Data and Add-ons will show how many minutes you've used. @HALIMACS has a picture 9above0 of what to look for.
edit..checking your voicemail also uses up minutes.

I looked into my History and all my outgoing calls added up to 40 minutes only. Is long-distance calls in Canada not included in my 100 minutes?

If you find you have used all of your regular plan minutes already...consider getting the $5 / 500 Minutes of Canada-wide calling Add-on. Those add-on minutes will get used if your regular plan minutes are exhausted before next renewal. If you still have add-on minutes left over, they just roll over until you use them up...even if that takes several months or more.
Load $5 in Available Funds, click Purchase Add-ons...look on the menu for the 500 Minutes of in Canada Calling Add-on.
edit..wording

@Ind did you try going through the Usage log and check for outgoing minutes?
Two things,
1. make sure you aware your current cycle start date. PM starts date changes all the time
2. Check through the log from the correct cycle start date. Make sure you understand minutes is round up to the next minute. 1:59 counts as 2 minutes but 1:01 also counts as 2 minutes

Look here in your self serve for the definitive value @Ind
And remember PM is per minute consumption.

Where are you seeing 40 minutes? Your phone? Your account? Is your account active? Are you dialing with a 1 in front?
