I was Public Mobile customer one year ago, and I want to switch back. I still can logon to old Public Mobile account. May I apply the new SIM to same account? My user name is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Also, it states that the new SIM card costs $5. When I bought the SIM card from Koodo, they charged me $10. They said they did not have $5 promotion option. How may I get the $5 credit back?

@dymchan1 Where you on the $15 or $25 plan before ? Seems like you’re being treated as new customer . And yes the site has SIM card for $5 but cost $10 in stores . Good to have spare SIM card laying around anyways incase you lose or damage your sim or to give to family or friend to join PM and use your refferal code

hi @dymchan1 is only $5 or you wait for delivery
Koodo stores are just helping out so they don't follow PM special pricing
But buy from Amazon
Amazon.ca https://www.amazon.ca/Public-prepaid-postpaid-Activate-Allinone/

This is the package selection page after I logged on to my old PM account, and all Black Friday promotion are there.
When I selected one package, it states SIM card $5 and I went to Koodo but they charged me $10 instead.

Public Mobile won't refund you the difference for a sim bought elsewhere, however if you use a friend or family members' referral code you'll get a $10 account credit.

@dymchan1 If you can still log into the old account and still paying for it then yes just sim swap the number in account profile page
SIM SWAPPING profile tabs
But if you want one of the new Black Friday plans it might be wiser to just create new account with new email so you can get one of the lower priced plans . Public mobile. Made it harder to downgrade plan price these days so it’s best to start with cheaper plan that fits your needs . It’s easy to upgrade plan price

hi @dymchan1 unless your account was only suspended for less than 90 days, you shouldn't be able to login still. Since you left for a year, login should not work
I suggest you to check with PM support first
you can submit by direct message:

Support will reply via Community inbox here within 2 to 4 hours:

get sim card from Amazon for $5

PLEASE remove your data from public forum.
It is rather impossible you can log in to your PM account if you do not service with PM. Accounts get closed after 90 days of no pay or when you port your number to another provider.
Logging to Community has nothing to do with PM service account. Anybody can open Community account without actual PM Plan/service.
PM does not refund for their SIM if you bought it elsewhere. Try to return your SIM to Koodo and purchase from PM for $5.
To open a PM account you would need: PM app, SIM, unique email, select plan, pay, transfer number (later). Activation is done trough PM app.
