Hello!
I am travelling to Australia and have a data only SIM (not with Public Mobile) which I will activate when I am there. As my phone only has only one slot (and does not have eSIM capabilities), I will need to remove my Public Mobile SIM. Will I still be able to access things like WhatsApp, other apps and my contacts or is that only saved on the Public Mobile SIM? Will it be as easy as swapping SIM cards when I return to Canada and everything should work as it did?
Thank you!

Whatsapp .. could be no if whatsapp notice you have another phone number with your australian sim.. but usually whatsapp won't know it that quick
with contacts, they should be saved with your Apple or Google account and not on your sim, so you should be ok
yes, when you are back in Canada, just put your sim card back.. done
