I received a text from Public Mobile yesterday indicating that I have used 100% of my data service and I was unable to text anyone while on a road trip. Today, I am at home, logged into Public Mobile and redeemed 10 reward points for an additional 1 GIG for this weekend as I will be travelling again. And almost immediately I received a text indicating that it is 75% used while I am at home and using WIFI. Has anyone else experience this?

@PatF , the way the usage meter works these days is it seems to aggregate the included data in a rate plan and the available data in data add-ons and report usage as a whole. I am wondering if you have a rate plan with lots of included data, purchasing an add-on could still cause this aggregated usage to be above the notification threshold.

login My Account using Incognito/private/secret mode on your browser to check.
on the usage Odometer, click Usage breakdown. You should see the 1GB you redeemed and check the usage
if it really got used, you need to check your phone. Some settings on the phone would switch to data when the wifi signal is weak
or you can also submit a ticket and ask PM to check
