Reactivating account

Cole_Willman

My account went dormant for the last couple of month's and I am trying to reactivate it. I have the PM SIM card I used just a few months ago but the system is not accepting it as a valid #.  I don't want to pay and wait for a new Sim when the one I have is here and worked just fine. What can I do?

Thanks for your help!

@Cole_Willman

Sorry, the number will be returned to the carrier you got the number from then they will pause the number for 90 days and it will be open for new members to pick your old number.

You might have luck if the number was from Telus or Koodo but slim to none to get it back.

If you don’t remember the carrier, just look it up at:

If it is Telus or Koodo then DM a CS_Agent to see if it is possible to retrieve at:

It was a compromised card and didn't realize payments weren't going through.  Do you know if I can pick the same #?

If you went over 90 days with nonpayment then your account will be closed, SIM rendered useless and you lost your number.

The only way to check whether your account is closed. Dial 611 or 1-855-4PUBLIC and check on the status of your account.

If it indicates that the tge account doesn't exist then your account is closed then you need to get a new SIM and pick a new number.
