Hi, I have a problem related to this issue.

I'm camping and used up my account data so was hoping my service would automatically switch to one of the many bonus add-ons on my account. It didn't, so I've appreciated the comments here and followed the instructions. I've removed my data limiter and cleared my cache/history, and signed in again. My subscription usage is still showing 1011.49 MB (of 1 GB) with 12.51 MB left, so I worry, as a prepay customer, that I'm getting charged. All of my bonus add-ons are showing 0 % used. 

I'll be thankful for any suggestions!

Hello! I have an old 3G plan. I cleared my cache, rebooted my phone, and removed my data limiter. The data works, I'm over my GB subscription, it just isn't showing that the data is being pulled from an add-on. But, now with this wonderful help from Community members, I'm going to keep using my data and know that I won't be charged extra.

Thanks very much for the answer! I'm using a friend's data/phone to tap into Community so I'm struggling with getting a screenshot but yes, in my phone I've got the screenshots. Brought an old-school photocopy too since I knew we'd be in the woods. 

With the PM Community responses, I'll confidently use my data/phone for the rest of our trip. Thanks so much!

There is no such thing as extra charges on Public Mobile, if you haven't paid for a feature it simply will not work. As long as your data is working you're good to go.

@kimba8 with just 12 Mb left on your regular usage, you could have already used up the regular usage and just the page was not updated with the latest info.

Do you have a 5G plan with unlimited data at 512kbps??

did you try to reboot your phone?? The system should be smart enough to start using the bonus data if there is any, try reboot the phone and Reset All Networks

@kimba8 If you have available data showing on your account, then it should work (assuming you disabled the data limiter on your device). Do you have a screenshot of your account (remove any personal information) showing you have available data add-on's? Are you sure you disabled the limiter in your device settings?

Don't worry, no extra/surprise changes at Public Mobile.
