Will my spouse have any issue porting an out of province number from Fido? He has an Alberta number that he kept when we moved from New Brunswick.

To answer this quetsion accurately, it at least needs to be known which city the phone number is from. This number will only transferable to Public Mobile if both Fido and Public Mobile offers phones numbers for this same city.

If his service with Fido is still active. It shouldn’t be a problem.
Just remember to keep the SIM in his phone and wait for the text from Fido and reply with YES confirming he is porting over to PM. He will have a 90 minute window to reply or porting will be cancelled.
Taxes will be based on the area code of his number.

@Eastcoastgirl there should be no issues with this. Give it a try and ask for help if you have any issues.
