Porting out away from Public

Why does Public not reply to new carriers porting requests? Has timed out 90 minutes twice now… without me ever getting a text from Public

To successfully port out of PM. You will need to do the following:

- PM account is active

- Use your PM account number rather than your IMEI of the phone 

- You new carrier must contact PM during the activation on their network

- Leave your PM SIM in your phone and reply with YES to the text from PM confirming you are porting over to the new carrier within the 90 minute window

- If you missed the 90 minute window, your new carrier will need to contact PM again to resend the text again.

This seems to be a common occurrence with Public Mobile. I've heard a few times over the last few weeks. 

You can of course create a ticket to resolve this. Or you can get your new service provider to contact Public Mobile as they have ways to do so.

Already done and its active yes, which seems to be the problem.

Is your Public mobile account active?  Need an active account to port out.  

If active, then need to contact CSA as described above.
