Porting from Bell landline

Ported my Bell landline over to PM. The last step asked for code by SMS, not possible on landline

im assuming I just wait?

hi @NAS1 when did you submit the porting request? there is no sms to approve but it is normal for take couple business days for lamdline transfer, could be as many as 7 business days.   So, if you just request porting, there are many days to wait

Neither Public Mobile nor Bell send a text mesaage for you to approve a transfer from a Bell landline. These transfers take a couple of days to complete.

As of this morning still not ported. From my own PM number I could send a text to the ported number but the text from PM to ok the transfer was not received.

I would appreciate a transfer problem phone number. How do you send. I won’t use for 2 days

@NAS1  Yes could take up to a week to complete , just keeping trying the number each day unt it works

hi @NAS1 yup, no sms for landline.  Landlines port could take 7 business days.
