Good afternoon,
Someone in my family wants to switch to Public from Freedom. She had switched to Freedom from Koodo (and ported her number) 3 months ago, but she isn't happy with their signal strength where she lives. Would it be possible to switch to Public and porting her number? If not, how often are you allowed to port your number?

Yes, if her Freedom account is still active.
She cannot port her number to PM if her number is not active.

AFAIK, it's your number, and you can take it to whichever provider you want, as often as you want, i.e. if you want to change providers every month, you can do so.
Agree with all replies to your question. @jgabbar
Porting a number from a provider to another provider is the law of this land. Make sure your Freedom number is active before you can port your number to another provider. Therefore, don't call Freedom to cancel your account. Let PM handles your port.

AFAIK, it's your number, and you can take it to whichever provider you want, as often as you want, i.e. if you want to change providers every month, you can do so.

@jgabbar Yes it is possible. There's no limit to porting a number. However, we would recommend that you activate your SIM with a temporary phone number , and set up your service/ my acount first before porting your number from within. Please note that your Freedom account must be active to port .

Yes she can port her number, just need a PM SIM and unlocked phone. Also keep the Freedom Mobile account active until the porting is complete.
