Hi there,
I'm wondering if it's possible to keep my account/plan active, while porting my phone number out to a different service (Voip)...? Would the act of porting my number out automatically just cancel my account, or is there a way to keep it active by giving it a new number?

As mentioned above, there is no way to keep your number and account active. You will lose your account once you port out your number.

@Chris_ No sorry once you successfully port the number out it will close your account , best to just open account with new number with new provider if you want to keep your public mobile account active and useable

sorry @Chris_ , you. can't do that. Once the number is ported, the account is closed. No exception to thos process
