How can a community chat help to  resolve an issue for a phone service provider.  

The Public Mobile  Service should accept full responsibility for its its actions and not leave it's clients with unresolved issues to solve each other's problems.

We can't help you if you don't respond to us and answer the questions we ask you. A customer support agent won't respond to you in the community either. You would have to contact customer support either through the chat bot or by sending a private message. If you prefer to do that rather than have us help you then we can supply the links.

 

It sounds like you activated put the SIM card in your phone and nothing is happening? You can't call nobody can call you you can't text you're not getting texts and you can't use mobile data. Is that what you were experiencing right now? If so your sim card did not provision correctly upon activation. This happens sometimes. You will need to contact customer support and they will provision your sim card to your account and you'll be on your way.

Hi @Marguerite90  let us know what problem you have with the service?

 

Yes, the "first leveL" of support is from Community members, but trust me, many of the people here knows more than the first level support agent you see with any carrier.  Also, we will share with your workarounds that agent would not tell you.

 

So, share and maybe we can help.

you get new number or port in / tried reset network/and so more things to get service give some info so many member will be help you faster.

OH, you have another thread you started @Marguerite90 . Try to keep related posts together and it will be easier to keep all information together.

@Marguerite90   PM is a prepaid service provider and usually do not provide refund

 

But, we can likely assist and advise what to do to get your service working

 

so, did you just activate?  do you see the phone connected to Public Mobile network?  can you at least make outgoing calls?

 

Provide us more information and we can advise further

 

@Marguerite90  - are you talking about an activation that you never had working services for, or an addon that didn't work or what else?

And, what trouble shooting have you tried?

 

We are customers / members like you here. So anything you can share that others may able to help you get your services working?

What is the issue you have had that you could not get resolved? The community cannot resolve account related issues for you we can only make suggestions give advice and help troubleshoot.

 

Public Mobile has based its online support model including a very effective friendly and welcoming community as part of their business model. It works exceptionally well and sheds light on issues and problems that occur with all providers but are kept behind closed doors when all support is provided over the telephone or online through private chats and not through a community model that is a public forum.

 

Customer support agents like most providers customers service agents are not experts in mobile technology field rather they are experts at customer service. And commonly will make mistakes or are not properly trained and may give false information or out of date information or read from the policy book when the community knows better.

@Marguerite90 , the community has always been a forum where customers help customers on non account related matters.  Account related issues are referred to the CSAs.  I don't see how this support model relates to being irresponsible.  It's an attempt at efficiency.

@Marguerite90 do you mind to explain what the current issue your have that is still not resolved?   You opened a formal ticket and some CS Agent worked on that??
