Currently on the 40 a month 3g plan. Is this plan (https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/#:~:text=get%2020GB%20of%20data%20for%20%2445%20%2439/mo.**) a limited term plan or is it a regular plan? It is the $45/00 plan on sale for $39.00 for a limited time.

Now, Public Mobile has a good plan, 20GB/ $39.00 monthly.

Current 4G plans are:

$35 3GB

$40 15GB - "was $60" isn't relevant, the plan costs $40.

$45 20GB - "$6 off for 12 months" (with promo code 6OFF12MO45), the plan costs $45 but gives you a $6 credit each month for the first 12 months. You have to pay $45 on your first month, Public Mobile will deposit a $6 credit a few days later. The promo code is valid for new activations only (no way to apply this promo to an existing plan). Note that a "month" is always exactly 30 days, there's slightly more than twelve 30-day "months" each year, your payment/renewal date will fall a different calendar day of the month as often as not.

Promo plan fine print:

**Offers available to new activations online until May 15, 2023 at 11:59PM ET. Plan price includes $6 credit applied monthly for 12 months. Customers must select the 20 GB for $45/mo plan to receive this offer. Credit will drop off on month 13 or if customer initiates a rate plan change, whichever is earlier. Available for new customers only. This promotion is not stackable with other in-market offers or other promo codes. This offer is subject to change without notice. Taxes are extra.

@Posieclaire   The $40/15GB plan has been available since about October last year and has been promoted as being limited time since.  It's possible PM could pull it anytime they want or keep it for longer.  If you're interested then just schedule the plan change (Change at Next Renewal) to lock in the plan at your next renewal as PM doesn't prorate for unused days left in current cycle for immediate plan changes.

The $45/20GB (discounted by $6 to $39.00 for 12 months) is only available for new account activations, unfortunately.

edit:  just to clarify both $40/15GB and $45/20GB 4G plans have been available for several months.

@Posieclaire

the $39 plan is only for new accounts.

You can select the newer $40 / 15GB's data plan though
