You can do that!

Open account at other provider. Keep both accounts live. Do not close PM account.

Initiate porting at other company. Keep PM SIM in your phone!!! and reply Yes within 90 minutes of receiving SMS from PM. That will CLOSE your PM account (delete it, all funds on account if any, rewards will be lost) and transfer number to another provider.

your current PM account must be active

Login to My Account and get the account number there

Then join your new carrier and provide them your PM account number and phone number

You will then get a PM text and you need to reply YES within 90 mins

once replied, your phone number will be ported in around 2 or 4  hours

@nikopino- keep in mind that your PM account must still be active at the tie you do the transfer.  you will receive a text message asking you to confirm that you want the transfer to happen.

@nikopino you can. Just port out your phone # to another carrier. It works. Can keep your #
