@Hermelin1 : Dunno. You would have to ask them. If it's not attached to an account or not ported out somewhere else then you would need to start up service with them and get that number. Then you can do whatever you like after that.
Edit: could be Virgin or Lucky too (ooo there's a joke in there somewhere 🙂 )

So sad, could I get it from bell?

@Hermelin1 : That number originated with Bell. Public Mobile won't be able to do anything for you anyway after all this time.

When I dial the # it says no service416744.

Thanks

@Hermelin1 : What happens when you try to dial the number? Can you post the first 6 digits of the number (not the last 4).

I had paid about 54 months ago, I had added another number at that time, so I paid no notice to that number.

Hi @Hermelin1 So, you called the number and is currently not assigned?
How long your account was cancelled? when was the last time you paid? Also, was the number originally from PM/Koodo/Telus? If you ported in the number from another provider before, then PM won't be able to help.
Even then number was originally a PM number, it really up to PM Support to decide to help or not.

Go in to your private messages and check to see if the message you think you sent is indeed in the "sent" folder. Unfortunately navigating this forum is a requirement to get support from PM. Perhaps you could get help from a friend/family for this if you are finding it confusing?

I am a tech cluts, I hope that I did it correctly.

Did you send the private message after clicking on the link that I have been providing?
Please ignore the link in @computergeek541 's message - it is for Oracles only.

access denied. Will someone from PM contact me to let me know if I can get the number back?

Here's the link from my previous message again: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
As you can see, a moderator has already removed your phone number from your previous message. No need for you to do that anymore.

After 90 days of suspended/non-payment status, your account will be permanently deactivated, which means you will:
1-Lose your phone number (and Self Serve account), any rewards or Available Funds balance that was in your account at time of suspension, and won’t be able to transfer the phone number to a new provider in the future.
2-Need a new Public Mobile SIM card if you decide to activate a new Public Mobile account.
If you have been active within 90 days, but suspended now, simply make a payment to the amount of the plan you want to activate with and resume services.
You can make a payment through 611 or on your Self Serve account...with a voucher, instant top up, or credit card.

Yes please remove that phone number first of all.
You may be able to ask PM's customer service about the possibility of getting that number back. You can message them privately here: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Edit your post by clicking on the down arrow top right of dialog box.
This is a public forum.
You would only be able to get your number back if it wasn't already used or if you have not gone further than 90 days without having service here.
(after which your public mobile service account closed and number could be reassigned)
