Sounds like it may have been a reprovisioning issue.

@mpfoodie_13  did they confirm if it is system issue affected people in the area or just an issue with your account?

Please post on how that turns out for you. I'm having the same problem in Alberta.

@mpfoodie_13 : These seem to be roving problems in some areas over the last while. This place uses 3G/UMTS for calls. It can do data and texts on 4G. It can also do those on 3G. But talk is _only_ 3G. Setting the phone to 3G would not fix this problem. I think you need to wait for Telus or Bell to finish whatever they're doing in your area. 3G is on a sunset path. Sooner in the states. Later here. These roving outages are likely in preparation for that.

Hi! 🙂

I am already on the 3G network.  I tried restarting again and no changes.

Thanks for helping me troubleshoot!  A CS Agent has been notified.  Just waiting for a response.

Yes, a CS Agent has been notified as well. Thanks.

Try changing your Phone network setting to 3G Only (or WCDMA) and see if it helps

Hi there!  Yes, the data works fine and I can send/receive text messages as well. The issue is sending/receiving calls to PM users and non PM users.

@mpfoodie_13 : Can you browse the internet using your cell data? There might be some repairs or upgrades of equipment in your area. There don't appear to be any known (as yet) outages in the area.

This sounds like something that should be reported to PM right away so they can escalate it to the right department at Telus.

Please send a private message to CS_Agent with your account details and the address where the problem is being faced.

All the best! 🙂
