Hi
i have an iPhone XR and when I try to dial certain numbers it beeps three times and hangs up. Anybody have any ideas?

I powered down my phone then turned it back on. Then I turned Airplane mode off and back on.
That fixed the issue for me this morning. Hope that works for you too cuz it was super frustrating.

Getting the same 3 beeps… this is day two so happening for 48 hours now… calls can come in but can’t call out… 3 beeps the call drops.

Seems to have fixed itself, pretty sure it was a carrier problem.

@ggaudette1 - likely a network flow issue that was happening. I see some issues were happening today.
When these blimps happen, you can also try the below to help reconnect/trigger the Public Mobile Network:
-rebooting your phone
-toggle into airplane mode then back again
-Perform a Reset of the device's Network settings

My mom was having issues this morning getting the beeps and having it disconnect this morning as well here on Vancouver Island. iPhone user as well

There have been 2 other similar reports of problems this morning from customers in BC. I suggest you send a private message to CS_Agent with your account details so they can look into this for you.
Don't bother with tickets and the chatbot - they can be faulty.

You're welcome! It definitely sounds like a phone-related issue if it's been going on for a while with all different numbers that you try to call.
Please keep us posted on what you find when you try from another device.

Are you able to put your SIM in another phone temporarily to see if that solves the problem?

Possibly but three different areas this morning, Whistler, Vancouver, and Everett?

This is usually an indication of a problem with the number that you are dialling, or the network in your area being busy.
