When I added my new payment card it automatically charged my account $52 without knowledge because when I added my card it immediately switched to a screen saying my charges were $56 so I submitted the payment but later found out that it had already automatically charged me 52 I am in desperate need of getting that money transferred back to my account and the extra $50 on my account removed

@Antrod79  - how did it automatically charge you?

Were you currently in a suspended status and it topped up your account to reactive/resume your plan?

HI @Antrod79  PM is a prepaid service, they usually do not provide refund.    Your money is safe there if you see it on your My Account -> Available Fund.

But if you decide to try to ask for a refund,   Click on the Bubble or directly at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:

  1.   Start by typing "Overcharge"
  2. then click "Contact Us"
  3. then click "Click here to submit a ticket"
  4. you will then direct to another page to open ticket.

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the moderators (but this can take longer):

@Antrod79

If you want a refund, you will need contact a CS_Agent but it will take up to 30 days for you to get it back. The overcharge will be a credit in your account so it will be used to cover next month bill.

@Antrod79  Can you check if you see $52 or so sitting there as Available Fund on My Account?  If so, you can choose to leave it there for next month's renewal.

If you really want to ask for a refund, please open ticket with PM Support.  Since it could be a system issue, PM might be willing to proceed with the refund.  But a refund could take a week or two to get back to your credit card.  To open ticket with PM Support:

1. If you have access to Self-Serve My account: For faster response (2-48 hours) , Click on the bubble in the lower right to request CS Agent assistance, or use this direct link: https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start with typing "Submit a ticket", click "Contact Us", click "Other" from the choices, click "Click here to submit a ticket". Then follow to complete the ticket submission.

2. If you don't have access to My Account or have trouble with above method: you can Send a private message to the CS Agent here: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

**Monitor your Community inbox, envelope on the top right, after ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply and work with you  via messaging there
