Payment voucher not working

I bought a payment voucher from Walmart and it won't work. What do I do?

Hmmm...as confirmed by @JL9 Wal-Mart pm vouchers are valid right away. But let's say you made an imputting mistake on one try and/or on another try you used the wrong 12 digit code. You have now used up your 2 payment attempts for this hour.

Wait out a full hour. Locate the 12 digit PIN # on the voucher. Ensure you can see each digit correctly and take your time punching in the numbers so you don't make a mistake. Hopefully this time around 611 accepts the voucher.

If not then try one time thru self serve and if you still have no joy and you are sure you have done everything correctly then contact customer support to check the vouchers validity and have them add it as there have been a higher than usual amount of issues in the past week or two adding a voucher....maybe the system is acting up again.

Once you do get your Wal-Mart voucher loaded on your account I sure could use a walmart example in the voucher catalogue if you wouldn't mind adding it for future reference for other customers experiencing a similar issue. Thx!

OP should have tried to load it in the store and scream for manager if it did not work. Now it will be interesting to hear how this issue has been resolved.

Yeah I actually can vouch for this, at least my buddy. He has used it a few times and loaded it in the parking lot.

HI @mandyfullerton   I think vouchers from Walmart are instant without to wait 24 hours.

are you entering the 12 digits code?

It could take up to 24 hours for voucher’s PIN to become active.

@mandyfullerton   Make sure you're entering the correct 12 digit PIN or try them all being careful about entering a wrong digit.  Some voucher funds are not available immediately and can take several hours before becoming available although not sure if this applies to Walmart vouchers. 

Have you tried dialing 611 to load your voucher?

You tried both 611 and your account? You used the proper 12 digit code? Only try a couple times per hour. Also, some vouchers are not valid for some time. When did you buy the voucher?
