Add on talk minutes

I recently purchased additional minutes and my credit card was debited accordingly. I cannot make outgoing calls since I apparently have no minutes available

@8george1

If you preformed the 2 step Add-on process then try rebooting the phone by powering off then back on.

Your self serve account is just like a vending machine. First you add the money. Then you make your selection. And you confirm and submit your purchase. Instead of bending over and reaching for your purchase you log out and reboot.

  1. Add funds to your PM account: Any funds to buy add-ons come from your balance, so manually add funds to your available balance first.
  2. Buy Add-On: You will actually buy the add-on after you add funds to your account or else you won't have funds to actually buy the add-on. Funds to buy add-on come from Your account (after adding funds in step #1) and not directly from your credit card.

Check your account. What does it say? Did you actually bought AND add add-on to your account?

If you're in Canada then be sure to buy Canada add-ons. If you're in the states then be sure to buy roaming add-ons.

Review which countries the Canada add-ons can call as well.

@8george1   Adding add-on is a 2 step process

1. Load fund

2. actual purchase of addon

Any chance you missed step 2?  go back to My Account.  If your Available Fund is same as what you have loaded, then likely you didn't buy the add-on yet.  So, go back and buy and PM would use the money from Available Fund for the add-on purchase

Once done, logoff from My Account and reboot your phone once

Also, you can log back in to My Account after, your should see the add-on shows up in My Data & Add-ons section

Getting the add-ons are a 2 step process. Add $$ to Available Funds...then go back and buy your add-on. Sounds like you only did step 1 ? Now look and see if $5 is in Available Funds..then go back and buy the add-on.
