Recently I got network connection issue. There is no data signal on the phone. I noticed that my plan got changed from $30 / month to $20 /month these days. Does this change cause the data issue? How to fix the problem?

It turned out that when the plan got changed in backend, I had to shutdown the power and restart it to get the network back.

Are you saying that you didn't initiate the change, it just happened?

Switching plan has nothing to do with the network connection issue.
Check to see if there is an outage in your area:
https://istheservicedowncanada.com/status/telus/map
Try resetting the Network setting on your phone and reboot your phone and see if that helps.

Since when do you have this issue? When did you change your plan though?
I dont think changing plan will cause troubles with data
Do let me know & how much are you getting with the new plan
