Hi,
I have a plan with 50 GB data. I have a SIM issued from Public Mobile. My phone does not support eSIMs. My original phone was lost, so I bought a physical SIM. For the first three weeks, the SIM did not work - tested in two Android phones. Finally PM did a reset on the serial number and presto, voice and text worked. But there was (is) still a problem. I have no data. As long as I'm in wifi range I"ll have Internet. When I wander away from my house, nothing. Android Auto is useless, for example.
I've reset the network, toggled airplane mode, and manually established my APN - of course, powering down the phone each time. Nothing.
I can see and select PM LTE and get a "connected to LTE" message, yet have no internet access. PM has reset the network twice for me already with no effect. It's been two months now, and PM is spinning their wheels. How can I get online? (other than wifi)

It's weird, I know. The phone is new ( UMIDIGI 5G G9). I have discussed this issue with the manufacturer - they couldn't help. I've tried the SIM in another new phone, but only get voice and text - but no data. They are both android 13. My wife is with Rogers and has no problems. I have not tried her SIM though.

That is a very strange situation, it sounds like everything is working Except data, which is odd. You mention your device doesnt support eSim, is that because it is an old device that could possibly have a hardware issue? I would try the sim in another device (phone, tablet, etc) and see if the data will work on anther device, as this sounds like a device issue and not network issue since calls/texts are working.

@Sultaneous any chance you could try your SIM card in another phone that you know is working?
