I'm a new customer with public mobile and I tried to port in my number from rogers. The thing is that my account with rogers is suspended due to a couple missed payments. (I can't make calls or receive any texts) Now I'm trying to login into my public mobile account so I can select a new number but because I already started the process of transfering my number from rogers, public mobile keep sending one time passcode to the phone number I was trying to port in. I contacted Rogers and there's nothing they can do about. I want to stop the transfer and be able to select a new number with public mobile.

I can use my data but at the moment I can't send sms and when I call someone it always shows up as a private number even though I'm showing my caller id in my phone settings

valid point. I was more looking at the transfer of numbers from Rogers. But he should already have a temporary number/new number if he signed up. Not sure where he's at now.

If you click on "Didn't get code" there is an option there to Send To Email. Try that. If there is no option for that, then use @Phil_Adelphus link to contact a CS Agent. Since your Rogers account is not active, there is no way to port the number over so you'll get a new number.

I dont want to port it over no more. I just want a new number with public mobile. I can't pay rogers and it's fine if I dont get my old phone number back. Now I'm stuck with a PM eSim that can't send sms and can only make calls showing private caller

I think you will need Public Mobile customer support to stop the transfer. You can send them a private message using this link. An agent will reply at the envelope icon top right (or tap your avatar to access messages if no envelope).

stills doesnt work. In order to login, I have to receive an otp from a number that I don't have access to.

I think you will need Public Mobile customer support to stop the transfer. You can send them a private message using this link. An agent will reply at the envelope icon top right (or tap your avatar to access messages if no envelope).

First @younesotl your Rogers account has to be active to port over. If it's not active, then the port will not go through. Go make a payment to activate it again. Then, try signing up with PM with the app and first get a temporary number and make sure all the calls work, text work and data works. Once it all works, THEN port over your number.

delete the app you have and download a new one.
